Grow 21C to serve tens of thousands more pastors all over the world.

Laura is a curriculum development expert with a gift for identifying and serving the needs of specific populations. For 14 years, she has directed the Women’s Ministry at The Bible Chapel near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she launched support groups for women grappling with infertility, miscarriage, abuse, and troubled marriages. Laura’s work also reaches children and families as a whole. She’s created an interactive Vacation Bible School curriculum, conceived and led classes on approachable evangelism, and written a study on the life of David.

Through Laura’s vision and efforts, The Bible Chapel has become a place where women can grow not only their faith but their leadership abilities too. The Women’s Ministry features thriving mothers’ groups, Bible studies, retreats, and mentoring programs, along with weekly worship and teaching. Laura recruits and trains leaders, teachers, facilitators, and other volunteers to shepherd and continue to grow these groups.

In 2020, Laura also founded Faith for Generations to further build and equip strong Christian families. Faith for Generations offers guidance and resources for parents who are looking to enrich their marriages, raise their children, and nurture their grandchildren in the truth of God’s Word. Laura’s e-books on the site are both practical and delightful and include children’s stories, a dinner-table advent program, and a chronological Bible reading planner.

Laura was drawn to 21C because it encompasses so many of her passions: growing families and communities through faith, developing original curricula, raising up new leaders, and providing them with a solid scriptural foundation.

A true builder in every sense of the word, Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. She built state transportation systems and critical evacuation routes before earning a Master of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary. Since then, she’s built Christian programs and disciples instead. She and her husband love Saturday morning garage sales and are the proud grandparents to seven children ranging in age from birth to 11.
