Giving FAQs

Is my donation secure?

Yes, your personal and financial information is 100% protected and private. We use Planning Center as our giving platform, which features advanced security for data and transactions. You can learn more about Planning Center security here.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. 21C International is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our Federal Tax Identification Number, also known as an EIN, is 85-2208365. Any donation to us is tax deductible. When you donate, we will send you a digital charitable tax receipt to that effect.

Can I change the amount of my monthly donation?

Absolutely. We understand that circumstances sometimes change, and you may need to modify your giving as a result. To change your monthly giving amount, log into your donor profile on Church Center.

Can I make in-kind donations?

Yes. We gladly accept donations of pro-bono work. If you are a professional with experience as a grant writer, editor, translator, marketer, photographer, videographer, or administrative assistant, your work may qualify as a gift in kind. Can I donate stock?

Yes. We accept most types of securities, including stocks (shares). As the donor, you determine the value of the stock you give, and we send you a letter of acknowledgement detailing the donation and date received. If you’re considering donating stock to 21C, please contact us or send us an email at info@21cinternational.org.

Can I make a Qualified Charitable Distribution?

Yes. If you are 72 years of age or older, the IRS requires that you begin withdrawing from your individual retirement account (IRA). This mandatory withdrawal is called a required minimum distribution (RMD). You can donate up to $100,000 per year directly from your retirement account to a qualified charity like 21C International. This is called a qualified charitable distribution (QCD), and it is excluded from your taxable income. A QCD is a great way to invest in God’s kingdom while remaining a wise steward of the resources he’s entrusted to you. If you are interested in making a QCD gift to 21C International, contact your IRA administrator with instructions to transfer funds to 21C International. The check should be made out to “21C International” and should identify you by name and address so that we can credit your gift. The check should be mailed to 21C International, 877 W.
