BECOME AN AMBASSADOR

Ambassadors are the boots on the ground, bringing critical training to pastors around the world.

Healthy leaders build thriving churches. Thriving churches transform their communities.

Less than 10% of the worlds pastors and leaders have access to formal biblical training which is critical to building healthy leadership for the church. That’s why 21C International focuses on training leaders in the Majority World. One of the most effective ways we do this is through our International Ambassadors—people who serve church leaders so they can fulfill the work God has called them to do.

Frequently Asked Questions

We’re always looking for new Ambassadors. Here are answers to some of the most common questions:

What does an International Ambassador do?

Ambassadors represent Christ and the mission of 21C International. Their role includes:

  • Partnering with in-country leaders and church networks
  • Ensuring the 21C vision and model are used effectively
  • Encouraging, equipping, and empowering local staff and leaders
  • Modeling the highest standards of biblical and ethical integrity

How are Ambassadors supported?

Ambassadors develop a team of ministry partners who provide financial and prayer support.

  • Most Ambassadors volunteer, raising support to cover ministry expenses.
  • Some serve part- or full-time with full support, including compensation and benefits, funded through their partnership team.

Where would I serve?

Our Ambassadors currently serve in South Africa, East Africa, Latin America, and South Asia. Every week, new nations ask us to bring 21C’s training program to their pastors.

Is there a region—or even a specific country—on your heart? Very often, that becomes your place of service. Most Ambassadors remain based where they live now and travel to their assigned region three or four times a year.

Do I need to learn another language?

No. While learning simple greetings is encouraged, most of our training is done with interpreters.

What qualities are you looking for?

We value character over credentials. Our Ambassadors come from diverse professional backgrounds, but embody these essential qualities:

  • Passion for Christ and his Church
  • Agreement with the mission and beliefs of 21C
  • Humility, curiosity, and flexibility
  • Spiritual maturity
  • A strong understanding of the Bible
  • Willingness to build and maintain a partnership team

What if I don’t know how to raise support or do this kind of ministry?

We equip you! Orientation includes: Building your partnership team, learning our ministry model, and initial training and mentoring.

Ongoing support includes monthly virtual meetings, topical seminars, field visits, and an annual in-person Ambassador retreat.

What is the expected time commitment to meet the expectations of the ministry?

Most of our Ambassadors travel 3 – 4 times per year. Each trip can range from 7-14 days depending on the destination. You can usually travel during times of the year that best fit your schedule.
